The beginning of summer seemed like such a long time ago. I knew that it would end with a move to California, but there were so many other events in between - taking the GMAT, Grant’s thesis defense and graduation, our potential engagement - that the move seemed to be really far off. idaho is good. i haven't had any of their famous potatoes yet, but i'll be heading out to yellowstone this weekend! plus i have a lot of autonomy in clinic.

Thanks. Though I knew it was coming, the moment caught me completely off guard. We were on our way to turn in his thesis so he could officially graduate. While walking across Killian Court, he asked me to read his acknowledgements section where he thanks a bunch of family and friends. I was the last paragraph. And he thanked me for being in his life, etc, and asks me to marry him in the very last sentence. When I looked up, he was on one knee with the ring. (:

awww! that's so sweet,romantic, and nerdy-original in the way he proposed. so cool! i give guys props for coming up with different ways to ask their signif o's hand in marriage. i will assume that photo is taken right after the proposal. can't see if ring is on your hand. photo a lil tiny. again, congrats and best wishes for the future in love and live. :)
