I'm definitely not a fan of Prop 8 but I don't see what reopening it will do. Insisting upon re-doing a plebicite repeatedly until you "get the answer you want" is hardly democratic.

Clearly people aren't ready for gay marriage yet and more time and effort needs to be spent on making acceptance of it mainstream.

I mean, if it fails to pass in California there's clearly a long way to go.
