HI everyone! i know i havent posted in forever..
but i need some suggestions & or help.
i wanted to know...1) what are some good exercise methods for getting rid of the fat on your inner thighs? as well as the inner/under arm area ( Read more... )

Unfortunately, it's physically impossible to target fat loss to particular areas. If you want to lose fat on your thighs at stomach, you'll have to lose it everywhere. :(

yeah i figured that..
but i was hoping maybe something, i do these inner thigh &outer thigh exercises with a machine.. &well.. it seems to have helped alot. maybe its just toning?
wtvr.. i can deal with everywhere i just really want those areas to go down more so than everywhere else. but everywhere else can go down too :)

1a. squats, keep your legs as wide as possible. use free weights to make it harder, as well. and pliays?? woo, don't know how to spell that! lay on your side and lift one leg as far up as you can, slowly lower. do both sides. and the machines that you mentioned in the comment, those too!
1b. free weights again. hold your arms up at a 90degree angle. lower your arms like a table-top (not like a bicep curl!). tense your under arm as you lift.
(google tricep exercises too, or sparkpeople.com--free and amazing)
[&&i know you know, but unless there's not much fat already in your arms/thighs, it'll just build muscle beneath the fat. so... cardio]

3. cardio. i know it isn't what you want to hear, cause that's not what anyone wants to hear. but the only way to lose the fat is cardio. then the situps build muscle and TONE it. &that muscle keeps the fat away. but ya gotta have both. buttt, when you're doing Any cardio.. keep your stomach really tight and you'll burn extra fat in your tummy.

you know, its funny..all of the simple exercises you mentioned like the leg lifts &squats i use to do daily.. when i wasnt working out at the gym much, now that i go to the gym i dont do it. i dont know why, i guess youd say i got lazy haha.
but yeah, cardio.. seriously, i know its the only way, i just wanted to know if anyone had any different methods. but yeah i do that like 4-5 times a week.. for atleast 30 mins.. i guess i just need to stick to it &remind myself that this weight isnt gonna disapear over night, its gonna take time. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
this gave me some more motivation to do those things
