Tom Hayes died quickly this morning; bon-vivant, engineer, raconteur extraordinaire, actor, photographer, jazz pianist, oenophile, and friend. He was my favourite uncle, and an extraordinary man.

An amazing wake is about to begin; I need to get me to Ireland, fast!
