who really does anything for new years? this shit hasn't got a patch on christmas.

anyway. i've started running sort of recently. i started off at 3 miles and now i'm up to 6 and a half. does anyone know much about running? like, i wonder if running so much everyday is bad or good or just sort of neutral aside from burning like 600 calories.

I hear running can mess up your knees? but I don't buy that. I enjoy running as a way to keep in shape, though I do a bad job of doing it regularly.

new year's? well I have a big party. invite a ton of people. it's usually a lot of fun. haha, you can come if you can make it here by tonight!

I think it depends on how often you run. My understanding is that working out more than three times a week isn't helpful for like, healthiness. (Though it's helpful for other stuff: endurance, weight loss, etc.) Also, running is not good for the knees in the long term. :(

i'm psyched to start running!
