I took a trip to see Mom today at the Wolfram & Hart rehab facility. She's angrier than I've ever seen her for putting her in that place, and she's been verbally abusive to the nurses and doctors there. I keep trying to insist it's for her own good and that I'm not taking her home until she learns to live without her firewater. She can just sit ( Read more... )

Hi, Freddy? Parker Abrams. We went to UCSD, remember? Anyway...I have a proposition for you.

I'm willing to grant you exclusive coverage of the shindig on Saturday, either for your paper or sold freelance to another publication, on two conditions:

1) My name never gets mentioned.

2) You do some paid work for me in the future, not completely unlike the work you're doing for Morrigan.

Sounds fair?

Mr. Abrams:

Nice to know a high-and-mighty prick like you deems a peon like me worthy of your consideration Thank you for considering me for the job, Mr. Abrams. I will accept your conditions. Now, keep in mind, the arrangement I have with Ms. Jameson is exclusive to her. The terms of my agreement with her in no way extend to you. So just keep that in mind when calling on me.And if you're thinking of trying to use me to get in her pants, think again, Bucko.

Sincerely,
Freddy Iverson

Iverson, you'll get the job done right, I'm sure. And your deal with me will be completely seperate from the one you have with Ms. Morrigan. Some of the terms may be the same, but there won't be any crossover in your work, I'm sure. You smalltime tabloid asshat.

Mr. Abrams, I won't disappoint you. And how interesting that you made sure to request that I didn't include your name in the article. Should I assume by this that you intend to partake in activities at this party that might besmirch the firm you work for and the title you uphold? Just a question. Strictly off the record, of course. Damn, I'm on tonight.
