Out of Touch

I am out of town for one week with no internet and no cell reception and I feel completely out of touch with the world around me. I feel like I am transported to an alternate reality monday through friday where nothing else exists except dirt, weather and CCS flakes. I come home on the weekends expecting things to be the same as when I left, like

I hear you about the disorienting thing. I always want people to be the same as the last time I talked to them.

Congratulations on Portland, though it sounds like a hell of a time to move. I've always loved that city.
