do what you have to do, rufus. and eventually, so will i. i just can't keep pretending that everything is ok anymore. maybe part of this life is the point when we can do nothing but hurt each other and our selves. we spent too much energy building one another up, it seems only fitting that we'd be the ones to knock each other down.

saying we're "broken up" just feels juvenile now. we haven't been lovers for long time now, but even as our official status has somehow dissolved, i still believe that i'll always love you.

please find the place where you start taking care of yourself again. be careful on your road, honey. i'm still holding out some minuscule hope that it leads you back to me, but even if it doesn't i still wish you the best.
