My life Down Under with Stephen is drawing to a close. Two more shows. I'm kind of loving the fact that I'll be here for Valentine's day and I'm doing a show. 2 years ago, I appeared on Letterman, sporting my post-rehab beard, singing "My Funny Valentine" while my heart was broken into tiny pieces. I think I want to sing that song again ( Read more... )

i remember watching letterman that night you sang that. the consolation is that the next time you were on his show, you and i had just gotten together and i was full force in the process of falling in love with you... where i'm happy to say, i'm still doing.

if you started writing, rainbow-shine-out-of-your-ass songs now, i'd have to call every one of your friends and your entire family and stage an intervention. i'm excited to watch you play tonight.

I remember that second Letterman show very well. I'm still wondering if if I could get away with putting "blowjob from my boyfriend" on my rider from now on.

No intervention necessary. However, I do think that the sun rises and sets on your ass. But that's different. Better.

i think "blowjob from your boyfriend" is the most reasonable request ON your rider! that night you were on letterman is still one of the most lovely, surreal memories of my life.

I do think that the sun rises and sets on your ass.

if i print this page, will you sign and date it for future reference?

Oh wait, but I was the giver in that particular situation. So maybe I should just amend that to "blowjob and boyfriend" in general. Because really, I'm equally enamoured of both roles.

With flourish, sweetie. You know I love you when I willingly put myself in situations where my words can be used against me in the future ;)

I love you and am a big fan. Most nights your voice is my lullaby. I love "My Funny Valentine" but you won me over by singing "Across The Universe". It is, after all, my favorite Lennon song. Don't worry...those FANTABULOUS rainbows-shine-out-of-your-ass songs will come eventually...if you want them to. Love always.

Thank you, honey. That's sweet of you to say.

I have no desire for the rainbows-shine-out-of-your-ass songs to arrive...score of other singers are already doing that job.

Now that's devotion. I'm not ready to enter that phase yet, though...if ever.

Rainbow-shine-out-of-anyone's ass songs aren't particularly my favorites anyway.
Besides, with you it'd be "rainbow-shine-into-my ass" songs, but let's not get into that.

Oh, please.
How long are you going to be touring in Europe?

Hi, Mr. Wainwright, I'm Bo Bice, the American Idol rocker who isn't Constantine Maroulis. Mr. Trask said that you were a big AI fan and that I should add you, so I have.

It's funny that I mentioned the two of you in the same post, before I knew that you were together or even knew each other. Like I told him, from reading your comments to each other, it sounds like you both win, and I'm glad there were some other comments here or I'd feel really intrusive.

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this season's show even half as much as I enjoy your music. Thank you for it.

I know we've already commented back and forth a little, but this was a sweet intro comment and I felt I should write back, anyway.

We are both winning for sure. I'm a lucky man.

The show is a lot of fun. You did a good job last night.
