I can't think of a title that isn't depressing or cliche

Getting old(er) is the strangest thing. I think about it all the time. And not just the typical mourning of the passage of time and the gaining of wrinkles and weight and all that superficial stuff. Anyone who knows me knows that I am indeed concerned by these things. I'm an admitted narcissist ( Read more... )

If we'd only created on the same day, then we'd really have some serendipity going.

You should post more. I didn't post for 14 months and we're only just even now.

Thanks for reminding me of my anniversary. It's not really an official one now, since I took that long break, but I'll still acknowledge it.

Most people seem to move in and out of the universe, leave and come back. I might not have posted as much as others, but I've been pretty stable. It would be kind of nice to have 500 posts for my five-year anniversary, but I don't really want to put pressure on myself for posting a lot. I've got enough pressure for other things. This journal is for fun. I think that's also why most people leave when things get stressful and come back later on for more of the fun.

Fourteen months... I didn't realize that your break was that long. At the same time, sometimes it seems like you never really came back full-force.
