well coming from someone who has a cousin in the military i really don't agree with one of their points. yeah like my cousin's some killing machine. riiiight. my cousin likes to kill? ugh fine agree with this because opinions are cool. :D but wow i dare them to spend a day with a member of the US military. wow...

sorry if i came off a little strong on that. i respect your opinion, as i said before. :D but i can't respect their diatribe against the military. yeah US troops DO have family and loved ones. i'd know. just venting.
"show this enemy in actions that seem strange, militant, or different.
Always portray the enemy as non-human, evil, a killing machine."
that's right...so we should show osama bin laden as a lost poor soul who skips through meadows of daisies? lol.

lol no they shouldnt show osama as a lost poor soul...because he was not the enemy in the iraq war. bush led the american people to believe he was, but really it was saddam. duhhh. lol sorry its just funnyyyy. much love ;)

whatever enemy you choose doesnt matter. i think the song is showing irony. we get all fed up when other countries have propaganda, when right under our very noses, our government is trying to force us to believe a certain way. this song is just letting them get their point across. i guess in reality it was meant for a specific time and place (this song WAS made post- sept 11) but i think they were trying to get the point across as a nation....does that make sense?haha-even if it doesnt, thats my take on the song, and antiflag in general-

a few things to add to this. when the world trade center attack happened, bush referred to the war as a "crusde" adding to his religious roots. also, the sanctity of marriage act is the most religiously based thing that could possibly be passed. i mean, think of one other reason why bush would want that bill passed. religion. thats all that man fucking cares about. oh and oil, being chaney and rumsfelds' bitch, and texas. i, personally, hope that man loses the election and never gets any political power EVER again.
