Flat-warming Party?

The Cleaning Wizards did a good job ridding the place of any...stains that might still be there.  It's hard living here knowing that this is where Riley lived, and, more importantly, this is where she died.  When I come home from work and it's an empty flat, an empty bed...I dunno.  I may have to move, but I can't be a burden on Molls any longer, ( Read more... )

You don't have to tell me, Fabian. I know. I'm quite excellent at making pie, too. I've had lots of practice. It's handy being pregnant sometimes.

Though, I've been craving cake.. and spinach. Ah well.

Mmm, just thinking of pie just makes me want to have some. Why don't you and Frank come round before the baby's born?

Cake and spinach?? No thank you.

Fabian Prewett, if you needed food, you should have just asked! I'll send a basket over straight away!

Molly, Molly, I didn't want to bother you. You've got a lot to do before the baby is born.

Speaking of which, um, the Ministry is sending me out of town the week that you're due, so it's possible that I might miss the birth and all that. Sorry, sis.

Fabian, nothing you could ever do would bother me. Unless it involved fruit, cream and a girl. I'll send over a basket.

...Oh.

Don't be mad, Molls. I tried to get out of it, really, but it's kind of important. As soon as I finish, though, I'll apparate right back, I promise.

Yeah, it has been a while. I don't think we're doing much of anything this weekend, then again I'll have to check with Kingsley just to make sure he's not pulling overtime on me. If he is I'll give him hell, promise.

How are you?

If Kingsley has to do overtime, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to get out of it in order to spend some time with me, because, after all, he is my best mate and all that.

I'm doing well. The apartment is quiet, but I'm trying to fill it up with as many people as possible so it can be loud and the neighbors can complain.

I'll use that exact argument. He'll buckle, no worries.

Should I buy you a puppy? How about...three puppies? That might work just as well.

Puppies?? I have enough problems taking care of myself; can you imagine if I was responsible for another living thing? It would be a disaster, I promise. I might purchase a cat, though. They're pretty independent, I think.
