I lent The Giver to a friend back in September. She hadn't started to read on account of how she was so busy, so I let it alone, knowing she's very responsible and doing well in school is one her top priorities. oh wow
I guess I only slightly understand because I love twilight, but I'm such a fan of reading in general that I have difficulty putting any book down no matter what it is
and I've been meaning to read the giver
she should have stuck it out rather than switching books

I don't hate them that much, but as of right now with the movie out and everybody obsessing over it and the books everywhere I turn, it's making me sick.
Yeah, she should have finished it. That's what bothers me most: not that she's reading Twilight, but that she couldn't finish the other book first. I hate not finishing a book. Even if I'm bored and take a month finishing it, I always finish. The rare exception being school-assigned books and even then I feel guilty.
