With Spanish, you really communicated the emotions really well. With English, you did a good job in the description.
I just began reading Water for Elephants, and I love it too! I'm trying to take my time with it.
Your English is fine. You rarely make a mistake, and I probably would've thought of them as typos if you hadn't mentioned the fact that English is a second language. And, yes, you do capitalize Spanish.
