An excellent chapter. I think you've done a fabulous job with Mattie and Simon's diagnosis was something I certainly wasn't expecting. A great twist!

River's idea to gather data on all the crew was awesome, as well, and I loved all the background information on Jayne.

And the end scene? Oh, they're so cute when they want each other so badly. This is a really great series and I eagerly anticipate all further chapters!

hey :) just found your stories here from your fanfiction.net account - and let me tell you, i adore your work!! been going through them all, havent left comments sorry, but they're all brilliant! i love how you manage to change river and jaynes characters between your stories, and yet every version is as believable as the last! sigh, rayne should so have been canon, dont you think?
anyway, cant wait for more of this amazing story! i wanna know what happens!!
