I didn't add additional stock, since the cheapass supermarkets load up the meat with so much water.

It is so galling how they do that! And yet, I think I prefer the chickens to which they add water (or is it some salty solution) because it makes the breast come out so much moister.

Still annoying to be paying money for water weight. Bastards.

You know what they charge for those chickens that have added salty solution to them here!? LOTS, they are "kosher" chickens! It's basically brining right, any poultry tastes better with brining.

I don't know how they add so much liquid to the beef, it must be a good third of the mass that's liquid.
