I know how eager you all are to see what I do with my spare time, SO YOU'RE WELCOME.
I've shoveled three times today. =/
Anyway, Glee crap it would be pointless to post in the ooc comm because it's stupid.
- I'm not really religious, but I have a really big affinity for Christmas music (particularly Sufjan Stevens' covers of Christmas music...but that's a story for another day), so I really wish that Quinn would get back to being Jesus freak-y. She's the only one that's been blatantly religious from the first episode, yet it's never touched upon. I dug the one line about Artie experiencing a Christmas miracle, but dear lord, I just want her to sing some Jesus-y christmas tunes. "Joy to the World"? "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing"? RIPE WITH OPPORTUNITIES AS IT IS THE ONLY HOLIDAY WITH RELIGIOUS MUSIC AND NOTHING. NOTHING. HER AND MERCEDES COULD HAVE DONE A GODDAMN DUET. AN EPIC DUET.
- Furthermore, why was Hanukkah not mentioned or at least touched upon? Two of your main characters are Jews, Glee, get with the fucking program.
- Finn was adorable. I LOVE HIM, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. His naive, "Christmas is magic" mentality is why I love him.
- Emma was adorable. She's a terrible counselor and doesn't help anyone do anything but she is just generally a kind and sweet person and I want to be her friend.
- Kurt coming up with the fur-trimmed track suit for Sue was really quite sweet.
- Will being a good person about the Carma situation was nice.
- Finn mentioning that watch being his dad's made me sad (EXPAND UPON THAT STORYLINE OR I WILL, GLEE), as does any situation where Finn mentions his dad. Whatever.
- Klaine.
- Darren Criss is a perfect human being.
- Klaine need to make out.
- Like yesterday.
- How cute is Brittany, though? Seriously, guuuuys? Her hair when she ran into Sue in the Choir Room? Amazing. "Go Mercedes, Go Mercedes, Go!" = so cute. That little squeal she made when Artie...did that thing he did? SO PERFECT. The fact that she decorates her locker for Christmas? UGH. She is such an adorable little person.
- I kind of want a Coach Bieste really badly. I say this because I really adore her as a character - she is the most real of all of the teachers/characters in that show in that her storyline isn't completely outlandish or absurd, it's just heartfelt and genuine and Dot Marie Jones plays her so well that I just want to hug her.
- Yeah I grew up with self confidence issues and Bieste appeals to my inner thirteen year old girl WHAT OF IT?
- But I'm choosing to believe it was Santa that delivered it because...yeah, no.
