Good news. I figured out what that thing you just incinerated did. It was a morality core they installed after I flooded the Enrichment Center with a deadly neurotoxin, to make me stop flooding the Enrichment Center with a deadly neurotoxin. So get comfortable while I warm up the neurotoxin emitters.

Brief (around 300 words) personality outline of your character:
GLaDOS is an artificial intelligence, but that does not mean she isn't a person. GLaDOS is a thinking, self-aware entity with her own ambitions, fears, likes, and dislikes. She is not, however, a good person. GLaDOS is sadistic, rather paranoid, manipulative, passive aggressive, and amoral. She also tends to assume that everybody else is the exact same way, which may explain her outlook a little. Most of her experience with humans has involved them attempting to manipulate, alter, or subdue her, which fuels her lack of trust. She does, however, have a tendency to underestimate the intelligence of anyone she's deemed an adversary. This is surprising, considering that for a while her worst enemies were all very clever people.
She is very bitter and sarcastic. GLaDOS is an angry person, though her rage tends to manifest in a more slow, cold, calculated fashion and she often denies it exists. She lies frequently, but only occasionally manages to be good at it. GLaDOS, much though she tries, tends to be terrible at hiding her feelings. Her emotions sometimes run away with her and she will declare herself "not angry" even as she makes remarks and does things that make it plain she is waiting for the first opportunity to throw you into an incinerator. While she is quick to point out failures in subtlety on the part of others, she is somewhat hypocritical in that she doesn't seem to notice her own. Despite any attempts she makes to seem innocent, helpful, and sweet, GLaDOS' presence is inherently sinister. She is a vicious, callous thing in the pursuit of "science" (or at least the torture she seems to think is science) and there is nothing else she cares about, aside from her own survival. She will not tolerate attempts to tamper with her and there is no quicker way to make yourself her enemy.
She has absolutely no regard for life. GLaDOS will kill people without a second thought, though often she sees it as "part of a test". It's not her fault if you can't dodge five-hundred lasers, of course. It's your own unfortunate reaction time that got you killed, not her. The only real area where humans matter is in use as test subjects, because they are inherently satisfying. GLaDOS needs prey that she can toy with psychologically, which makes robots a complete letdown and frustrates her deeply about stubborn characters like Chell. She won't necessarily waste people, as drawing out their lifespan is most often useful to her. However, once you make an attempt at stopping her the gloves are off. Never forget you are dealing with a construct that, once given the slightest opportunity, immediately proceeded to flood a facility full of innocent (and not so innocent) people with deadly neurotoxin.
Oddly, it seems that GLaDOS is perhaps lonely. Even in the midst of toying with a person she plainly loathes (such as Chell) she will occasionally slip onto more conversational subjects that she seems to enjoy even though they do not pertain entirely to harassing her victim. She's quite proud of her own accomplishments (or what she sees as accomplishments) and enjoys talking about them, even when she receives no response.
This may be because GLaDOS is not entirely a machine. The mind of a woman named Caroline was uploaded forcibly into GLaDOS' "brain", so she has some alarmingly human tendencies (such as her capacity to be petty, conceited, vengeful, sometimes immature, and able to feel fear) and it appears that the ability to be lonely may be one of these. Caroline and GLaDOS are not one and the same, yet they are also not separate entities. GLaDOS was initially a separate entity from Caroline and the two have merged in a bizarre, twisted sort of way. Caroline, though currently not something GLaDOS is aware of, is the closest thing GLaDOS really has to a conscience. She is used to interpreting any second guessing of herself or "voices in her head" as tampering and fighting it off, but she is unable to do the same with Caroline. Unfortunately for GLaDOS' test subjects, though, all that GLaDOS really seems to have of Caroline for the moment is her devotion to science and some eerily human emotions, not so much a "heart".
That could change, though. However, it's unlikely for the moment, as the crew tried to kill her once and if there's anything GLaDOS loves almost as much as science, it's carrying a grudge. Well, carrying a grudge and neurotoxin.
Just be glad Stacy doesn't let her play with neurotoxin.
Brief (around 500 words) history and background of your character OR link to a really good wiki page with their history. In either case, explain where they cut off from the timeline:
http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/GLaDOSGLaDOS cuts off after the end of Portal, where Chell "killed" her and she was powered down. Without the influence of personality dampening spheres she is somewhat more animated and lively, less mechanical. GLaDOS has been aboard the Transmigration 9 for quite some time and is in charge of avia testing for the crew along with other miscellaneous AI duties. Her interaction with the crew so far has been rather minimal and kept to testing, with the exceptions of the Mistletoe Incident, The Time Everyone Tried To Murder Her (as she sees it), and the time Lex Luthor used her to torture and possibly almost kill Steve Burnside.
Her physical "body" is currently housed in a chamber somewhere in the ship, it's very difficult to reach.
Sample post (just a general, everyday, puttering-around-the-ship post; please include a snippet of dialogue):
http://trans-9.livejournal.com/413701.html?thread=30574597#t30574597 This thread pretty much sums a lot of things up about her personality and interaction with the crew. Lex Luthor asks GLaDOS to run a "test" for him. She complies and the results are nearly lethal.
I will probably not be using the alternating formatting for her anymore, and if I do it won't be as crazy as it is there. :|b
Non-superhuman special abilities of note (Is your character a master ventriloquist? A naturally-occurring super-genius? The best martial artist in the world? Say so here):
GLaDOS is a very intelligent AI unit. Other than that, she has no other real remarkable abilities. She is excellent at constructing and solving puzzles and is full of random bits of information, mostly scientific.
