Unless it's vacuum-sealed and kept in a cool (or cold) place, most chocolate has a shelf life. Filled chocolates have a much shorter shelf life than solid chocolate.

Unfortunately, while it's possible to freeze and thaw solid chocolate, I've never been successful at doing the same for filled chocolates.

Yeah, NO KIDDING, and when it goes, it makes a hella mess!

Um, I am talking about the feather marabou... don't know if that is what you meant or not.
