The morning had been spent finishing her letter to Adam.
Dearest Brother,
Earth is crazy, I am beginning to understand why our mother never returned. Despite this, I've made many new friends. In fact, Hannibal told me to tell you that I'm going great here and he hopes to meet you at some point. Did Glimmer tell you She-Ra is here, too? As much as she helps things in Etheria, she's making my life in Fandom quite complicated, but so far all has worked out for the best. Cross your fingers for me that this trend continues.
As much as I'm enjoying certain aspects of my time here, I do miss you and I worry constantly how the Great Rebellion is faring without me and She-Ra. Please don't keep news from me. You know it will make me worry more. Glimmer's letters have been wholly concentrated on talk of boys and fashion and I know that's not all that's been going on unless you've managed to defeat the Horde and forgot to mention it!
I have been considering making a trip home. Spirit thinks I ought to speak with some of our special friends in the Crystal Castle and I'm rather anxious to see the Whispering Woods again. What do you think? Can Eternia spare you for a few days while I'm on Etheria? I won't make any steadfast plans until I hear from you, dear brother.
There is so much I wish to tell you, but I believe it will be better face-to-face. Maybe that is simply my desire to see you showing through. Write soon!
Yours always,
Adora.
While the letter had not turned out exactly as intended, she had given up on making changes since sometimes what you didn't intend led to really good things, Adora had ridden into town on Spirit and made a special stop at the post office to mail it off.
At the moment, she was sitting crosslegged on her bunk fiddling with Dor's radio, trying to find some music she could tolerate. The station she managed to tune in seemed very determined to make her listen to some girl declare loudly that it was too late for some boy and his white horse to come around. It was oddly catchy and she found herself humming the tune even when other songs played.
[Open door, entertain me!]
