I'll probably never have so much love and devotion to give to a new cat and Oskar too as while I'm still sad about losing Tacy. I mean, normally I'm pretty selfish ( Read more... )

Although I'm very sorry for your loss, I am glad you've got new kitties to love. Congrats on the new additions. :)

Yes, it does help to have something else to love, and to know I'm giving these cats a good home. Goodness, the people at the shelter were certainly happy to have two cats adopted by people who own a residence, work at home and are available to coddle cats all day, and can afford veterinary care and quality cat food... Betsy was given up because a family lost their home. So many poor homeless kitties out there right now with the recent economy issues, so I'm glad I can help out a couple of them.

Congratulations on the new kitties! I've been thinking of you and Tacy this afternoon. She was lucky to have had you as an owner and these kitties are lucky, too.

I'm with Dade, I'm a sucker for tiny cats. Our cat is really little even though she's four and a half years old. She's just so cute!

Enjoy your new babies. :)
