I love going to ALA -- I wish I could've joined you :) I'm so glad you had a wonderful time!

Money stuff stinks. *sigh* and (((HUGS)))

I love your creativity...

About to go shovel snow myself. It's exercise, but it's surely not fun.

(And 156$ is awesome!)

What on earth was on this magical postcard???

And dude, I would totally read glam rock faeries in 1972.

It was a photo postcard of the China Pavilion from the San Francisco Panama-Pacific Exposition in 1915. China stuff is crazy collectible...but I never expected $156.

Well, I hope to get on the glam rock faeries someday!

I had to google that! Was it this one? If so, very pretty indeed (though I can't imagine paying $156 for it...)

Those were the buildings in the background, I think, but this showed an ornate gate with some people walking in front of it.

Can you imagine paying $156 for any postcard? =P Well, I'm glad someone did!

I have to say the 1972 glam rock faeries book sounds very cool!

Ooh, I love the glam rock faeries idea! And you know I like the witchy MG too. I do wonder if the third-past-alternate voices will work better? That's what I'm trying to do with mine too.

Yay for your amazing postcard sales! And boo for taxes. The self-employment tax feels so oppressive sometimes since Steve and I are both self-employed.

It's so cool that you got to go to ALAmw! I sort of wish I'd gone, but my former editor frowned upon that. Hopefully next time it comes close...in 2019 the summer conference will be in DC again.

I'm already excited for 2019. (Besides that OMG, 2019 is an actual year that's soonish?? We're in the future!!)
