home remedies for the caffeine jitters?

Feb 27, 2007 15:17

I've been avoiding a lot of caffeine for the last while, and just mistakenly drank a giant vat o' caffeinated beverage.  I can feel the jitters coming on, anyone got some ideas for getting rid of them quickly?  Stuff like "eat a lot of cookies" is the ideal pointer I'm looking for.

Ta.

Wow, and here i just gave away 2 large Caramilk chocolate bars.. (bought them to support one of the employee's kids)..

How about walking around a bit.. to be followed up by eating a lot of cookies? ;)

2 large Caramilk bars full of sugar and more caffeine... Good god man, are you trying to kill me?

Lots and lots of water seems to be helping for now, although I doubt it will be that helpful when I try to sit through Children of Men at 7:00 ;)

Love to hear a review of what you thought of the movie :)

And you obviously needed to chill a bit because you posted this to your own entry instead of responding to mine ;)

Oh dear god how embarrassing to reply to my own post. Self-absorbed much? Stressed much? P'raps.

I still need to sit with that movie to determine what I thought of it. Interestingly, I knew absolutely nothing about it when I went in (which is my preferred way to see films, I hate to read reviews before I see 'em) and so it took me a while to adjust to the reality that it portrayed. My initial thoughts are that it was a well made film, poignant and relevant. I believe that I liked it, although it's a tough film to watch and "liking" it somehow sounds weird. More later.

Oh, and Clive Owen is always homminah-homminah hunky-type goodness.

I'm in training most of today and tomorrow which will sadly limit my bantering capabilities :(
