It was totally worth all that work- that's gorgeous- and I love that there are so many people out. Over here, people are in cars or they don't go out of the house.
I assume you had a cam of some sort that you can set to take a pic every once in a while, because if you spent all day running back and forth to click a shutter, you're really dedicated to your work.
Yeah at first I used some tape and the back of a labret stud to continuously take photos, but it killed the battery until I managed to get the proper software to do it all o'er USB.
I'm hoping it will snow tomorrow so I can take a mammoth all day one :)
I hope it snows too. I must've watched this 15-20 times. It's fascinating, I want to figure out what everyone walking past is doing, and I really really like seeing the snow build up on the wall.
1 x Nikon DSLR 3 x Battery-fulls of power 1 x Laptop 1 x Capture software 1 x Adobe After Effects 7 x Hours 3 x Tantrums
As the battery kept running out I had to charge it between shots, what's also a pain is keeping the laptop powered up, which rules out taking the setup out in the car and doing more interesting locations... but I'm sure I'll find a way ;)
