I think most [decent] people thought of him more as an interesting anomally (sp?) than as a prospective target of teasing.
I was amused by him, but not in a "haha omg look at the idiot running to class" sort of way - more in a "hey, you don't see that every day" sense.
I would like to think that the picture on the front of the yearbook is there because of what Pat said (which is all true), not because the yearbook staff decided they were going to be assholes.
honestly i think it's less because of our schools HORRIBLE SOCIETY than it is because he is a memorable person. i mean, it's pretty hard to stand out at our school, and he actually managed to do so. everybody knows who he is.
