ACTION IN THE HOUSEcrescentedApril 5 2011, 03:27:44 UTC
[Hanako's not the only one who's more than a little confused. Though he hardly reacted with the same kind of panic. Rolling out of bed, glancing down at the (ugly) clothes he was now clad in, noting he was missing his mask... well, it was more of an irritation than a cause for alarm.
And these pictures? They made no sense, but - there was a sound of commotion downstairs, and that drew his attention. So Turkey headed down, moving in a fairly relaxed pace given the situation. Once his eyes settled on some girl struggling with the front door, he paused.]
--Ahh, don't hurt yourself, there!
[He spoke up suddenly, leaning on the banister as he watched her.]
[She's rattling the doorknob so hard it looks like she might rip it off, and jumps at the sound of the man's voice. Another strange person, and he's much more intimidating-looking than the woman in the kitchen had been. So she says the only thing that comes to mind, and it makes no sense, but nothing right now does.]
Ah-! I...I'm sorry for intruding!
[She manages to get the door open, and looks like she might bolt.]
[And if she happens to run Turkey is gonna chase her. Because it's someone who might know what the hell this all is, since he, for some reason, does not.]
[Guy keeps failing his tests. Mostly because he can't read all that well and he passes all the time limits. He comes to the library to practice but...he still struggles.]
I-I had a... q-question... [she's looking at him timidly with her one exposed eye, somewhat wary, as if trying to discern whether or not he's like the woman she ran into in the kitchen.]
I-it's a fine d-day here in... [she's lifted a book up to her face and is using it to partially conceal herself, like it's a shield. it looks somewhat silly.] ...in- [she flicks her eyes up to the library sign.] Mayfield... isn't it?
U-um, anyway, I... w-wanted to know, um... [is there any way to ask where she is without sounding completely foolish? Hanako's starting to realize that there isn't.]
['Hanako's too shy for her own good. Help her stand out a little more!'
Well, it was a good thing she was on the same street as the new girl, then. Decked out in this yellow outfit, she walks up to the door and rings the doorbell.]
[she shrinks past the lip of the door frame, one hand drawing up to her chest. how does this girl know her name...? she's starting to wonder if she's hit her head and lost some of her memory. that might explain things.] U-um, yes... th-that's my name. B-but I d-don't think we've met...
