homeless people are much more visible everywhere but singapore; we seem to have some crack team that sweeps the streets clear of them and CULLS them. and disabled people on wheelchairs?? seems like the same. -_-

thrush IS a disease! but hilarious in the context... imagine hardy writing on yeast infections heehee. a very good poem for the end of the year indeed.

darkling thrush! oh what times. sentimentality aside, though, i'm a little skeptical about starting the new year with hardy.(aaaah! victorians!) a songbird for our times? it seems a little tired and a little too convenient. oh well i hope the year manages to reincarnate 'some blessed hope'
