I know the feeling, although I've always had a somewhat conservative bent. The thing is, both parties are acting like middle school bullies, throwing taunts and mud clumps at the other side, and getting ready for a pushy-pushy-slap-fight at recess, rather than working for responsible government. There is no viable choice left amongst the two main parties, and even the minor parties, if there was one with a chance at making inroads, leave much to be desired. Just have to vote your conscience and watch the circus.
