I am not quite sure what God is doing in my life right now. Not quite sure why certain events keep surfacing, when there is no need for them to. Not quite sure why someone can cause me so much pain and so many waisted tears. Not quite sure why I have some great friends who help me through everything. Not quite sure why I am so blessed to live ( Read more... )

You're a comfort to me! anonymous October 9 2003, 15:13:34 UTC
Hey Abbey!
It's good to hear about what God is doing in your life. Knowing that He is at work in people's life that I care about is a great comfort to me. I think about you and will pray for your mom.
Love,
Tricia

Sorry to hear about your mom...I will definitely be praying for her and you as well. Know to that in your writing and how you live it does not go unnoticed that you are a reflection of Christ...I see it and seeing as how little I see you I know that others see it more. :) "And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!" Psalm 90:17

I know how it feels to be in an accident. anonymous October 16 2003, 02:59:28 UTC
-Terribily sorry to hear about you mom. Cars are a necessary evil.(if you want to think of them like that) I was in a car accident. It was my fault and I totalled my car and all. Its a horrible feeling. Although, my accident taught me much much MUCH more about myself personally and especially about my egotism and that cars can be rolling death traps if not used properly.
-Accidents are exactly what that say - - a mistake. Surely your mom didn't mean to get into an accident. You are exactly correct in that the Lord will provide and everything will eventually work itself out for the best. Even if the van is totalled, there are always many more vans available:) Isn't that what insurance is for anyways!?! Tell your mom to keep her head up high, and everything will be okay...I'm sure. Take care! I'll be thinking about her.
