Here We Go Loup-Garou (Open to the Lunarly Challenged+Entourage)

Aug 25, 2008 16:28

Crystal sighed and scratched at an arm as she waited for the bus, head tilted back against the orange bench covered in ink pen graffiti. If there was one thing she hated, it was waiting for the bus. And it seemed that she would continue to wait for the bus so long as she didn't have a car. But the money that would go into a car would drop her level ( Read more... )

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet Are we there yet Are we there yet Are we there yet Are we there yet Are we there yet Are we there yet Are we there yet Are we there yet?"

Carr turned around in his seat, snarling at Jason, teeth bared, eyes bleeding to ice blue. "NO. An' if you don't shut your mouth, we're goin' home. Clear?" He looked between Jason and D, who looked utterly terrified.

Carr's patience was worn ragged, two hours trapped in a car with the bloody werewolf versions of Jay and Silent Bob driving him slowly up the wall.

Dietre had to admire Jason's gall to purposely get on Carr's nerves. He did find it kind of amusing, but he certainly wasn't going to say so, and any entertainment he got out of it was quickly dashed by Carr's fed up snarling. The German sunk down in his seat, wide eyed until Carr turned back around. And then it was time to huff at Jason, whispering despite the fact they were all werewolves here and Carr would be able to hear a pin drop.

"Jason, you shouldn't tempt a man who's driving you into the middle of nowhere. It'd be too easy for him to bloody kill us and who would ever know?"

He jabbed at the other wolf with an elbow. Yes, he shied away from acts of affection, but apparently brutality was just fine and dandy.

"Despite contrary past actions, I don't feel like dying lately, alright?"

"You're safe, it's me he wants to kill," Jason hissed back, squirming as D elbowed him. He poked D back, then kicked his shin.

Carr growled quietly, but didn't turn his attention from the road ahead as he pulled in beside the guard hut.

"Evening," Carr smiled politely, trying to ignore Jason, who had grabbed hold of D's wrist and was hitting D in the face with his own hand, muttering a litany of 'stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself'.

Sighing, Carr rubbed his face with his hands, catching the guards eye.

"I'm a care worker. We try and take the kids out, let them see life outside the hospital," he remarked in a stage whisper. "They're harmless, but not all there, if you see what I mean."

The guard nodded knowingly, eyeing Jason and D warily. He handed over the paperwork Carr needed to sign, and gave him directions and the areas to avoid.

"Ta." Carr frowned down at the map, marking the campsites, and already plotting a path in his head to the most remote area possible. Just in case.

[Sorry for posting out of turn, but Jason deserved it!!] deadly_delusion August 28 2008, 15:34:27 UTC
Poking was a laughable retaliation (not that D ever actually laughed), and the boy was about to sneer in his superiority when he got a kick to the shin. A let out a hiss at the sneaky tactics of using the guard as a distraction. Jason likely knew that Dietre preferred to avoid looking like an ass in front of normal people, and wouldn't hit back right away. But dignity be damned when your seat partner is whacking you in the face with your own hand.

"Add me to the list!" Of people who wanted to kill Jason, that is. He lunged across the seat the moment the car pulled away from the guard stand, using his free hand to slam Jason's head into the door, doing his best to repeat the action while trying to work his other arm free of the blonde's grasp.

Much scuffling ensued.

At least until Dietre's gaze flicked toward the window, catching sight of a lone girl walking along the road.

"...I thought this part is supposed to be deserted?"

Well now, that had been interesting.. well, she probably could have done without almost peeing herself from fear, but other than that it was interesting. Maybe she'd find that the wolves weren't so bad and could become best friends with them and then they could hold therapy for each other, since it was very likely that the three of them had memories of being attacked like she had been. And then they could form a group of every Turned person and take vengeance on those that had transformed others against their will ( ... )
