Lately I've been in a very spiritual mood and just felt overall like I need to be better. I need to look better, I need to be better in school, I need to have a better relationship with God, I need to be a better sister, I need to be a better person

Well i don't see how going out with someone who also believes in no sex until marriage would be messing with them physically. If they understood your standpoint and agreed whole heartedly then why shut them out. However you never know if a relationship that started at a young age isn't going to make it. I know plenty of "elderly" people who are married to there high school sweet hearts. The only reason I can think of for shutting everyone out of the romantic aspect of your life is if you wanted to put your career before love.

BTW I'm not trying to say anything about you, I'm just trying to find out your reasons.
