be careful what you wish for...kimmykat_______July 8 2004, 23:55:55 UTC
Eh, watching you with a room full of teenagers or a room full of hopefuls... interesting. Penn State, though. Sux as if would for me/us, good for you to find your mentor's mentor. I've always said you had brains, too. ;) Can't wait to see what comes outta that. and, dude... academia is where it's at! Go for that professor status!
College, you'll have people who are seriously interested in what you have to say as opposed to a room full of kids only taking your class cause it was an elective that looked easy.
I was going to bring up the same point. College students are going to have a temperment you can work with. High school students are bullies, shitheads, gossips and generally rebellious phucks who you'll have to struggle to reign in and control for ten minutes just to get two minutes of work done. Go collegiate. You'll be appreciated there, have more control, your work is worthy of college level instructors, and the students won't fuck with you even half as much. And if you sleep with the students... :)
Ten months? Is that right? So you're planning to attend starting next summer?
You would be a wonderful influence on either high school kids or college kids, my dear. But like I said before, I just don't see you as the boring high shcool teacher type who has to be at school by 7:30 every morning. You're much more like the cool, ultra-talented college professor who sets his own schedule and rocks his students' worlds. And who isn't forced to eat a sack lunch in the teachers lounge. Ew.
