My breakdown of Chinese New Year.
Get up be in a happy mood,
Get dressed still in a happy mood,
Makeup on, trying to be fast so that the happy mood carries on
Wish dad n mum happy new year
Dad gets pissed off and snappy as usual
Isn't satisfied with whatever he's being unhappy about alone needs to try to piss everyone off all the same
Gets pissed off

So sad to hear that CNY didn't end well for u. But I can sorta understand the drama llama of CNY. My dad's side of the family are just full of vile ppl with all the TVB drama cliches like suing each other, etc. So I usually spend time drinking cheap alcohol away in one corner when I'm forced to spend time with them.

But this year was a good yr for me cox it's the 1st time in a long time (the last time was cox I was sick.. thank you, sickness) that I don't have to see them for CNY. MWAHAHA!!

Hope u still manage to find some enjoyment despite the drama.
