It was too hot at work today. It's a new building (a custom built Pharmacy dispensary) and they haven't quite got everything right yet. They haven't even installed the water cooler yet! I convinced them to let me take the afternoon off seeing as most of the patients were too hot to collect their medicine anyway

Try to mix up your black warderobe with some red, purple, grey and white, it's nice to wear in the summer and it looks nice toghether with black ^^

I really like the idea of white but I always end up spilling ice-cream on it or putting it in the wash with the wrong stuff. I've worn the red and purple a lot but I only like the darker shades and most of those clothes are velvet which doesn't help. I haven't tried grey though....... - I'll buy some and see how it goes. Thanks :)

Not even watches are allowed?

That sounds like a scam factory managers used to run, forbidding personal watches, then tweaking the shop clock during breaks to squeese some overtime out of the workers without pay. If this is just a dress code issue and you're allowed to keep another timepiece like a pocketwatch or mobile phone, that's fine, but if not, you should question this policy.

There's clocks - on the floor! I work for the NHS and they originally spent a fortune on clocks which were set be a satellite so they'd always be accurate but the clocks couldn't pick up the signal in the building so they had to send them back. We're now using the old wall clocks from the previous building but there's nowhere to hang them so they're on the floor. Dumb huh!
