here's the best i can do. for german, i really liked Mason (i forget what her first name is). she's really great. about religion and philosophy...there is a guy on my livejournal friend's list named omnihilios (check the spelling) who is really super friendly and just graduated with a degree in philosophy...i know he would (and could) reccomend some good ones.
if you're interested in going further with the german...there is a german film class taught by a german professor. it's onlz OK as far as a film class goes, but is easy and you'll meet lots of film students who will be less than impressed with the class.
hey thanks for the help with the teachers it'll help out a lot. I just updated again with some more classes that I could use recomendations for, if you get a chance check it out. Also I'll be in town this coming sunday and monday you should give me your number so i could swing by and we could hang out.
Yeah I can tell you most anything you would want to know about the philosophy teachers if you have any specific questions.
I had Mr. Cooper for Creative Writing and he really kicked ass (as in very humorous to the point of making fun of students - very good creative atmosphere). I also have heard that Spraker for Creative Writing is to be avoided, but that's just what I've heard. Psychology I had Dr. Sims, but that was just General Psych.; she's into the Simpsons, though she is really tough (or maybe it was because it was an Honors class, I really dunno). I had Renk for abnormal psych., and she is to be avoided at all costs. I might even recommend avoided the class, as it wasn't 1/100th as interesting as I thought it would be (all rote memorization of what drugs to give to what disorder = boring). I had Levensohn for Faith & Reason and he used to teached World Religions (I think), but I don't know if he retired or not.
Anyway, I'd be glad to answer any more specific questions you might have. :)
Hey thanks a lot for the info. I really appreciate it, I can't think of any other questions rather than maybe to look at my latest post for my full list of classes and see if you can recommend anything but if I think of an actual question I'll be sure to ask you. You were a lot of help thanks again.
