I just snagged a ticket for sinead's show at joe's pub!

Now, of course, i'm still not sure that that it's a legit ticket... but if all goes well, I expect this will be one of the most kickass concerts I've ever attended.

Congratulations!!

I cried when I saw her in 1997. Pray for "[He] Moved Through The Fair" - that floaty glory-note stuff is still her best work.

I've got this vague impression that this is gonna be some sort of acoustic show, and if you dunno the venue, it holds ~150 people tops. *glee*

I was watching videos of her on youtube the other month, found a great one where she explained that the reason she didn't do Troy live anymore is that after 15 years of therapy, she's not that crazy and angry.

But yeah, I don't think she does anything from The Lion and the Cobra anymore - she might have done "Jerusalem" in 1997, but really, that was 10 years ago and she's probably further still from her work in 1982 now, and I am old and really need to lie down now.
