New Layout...Ugly or No?

I'm having mixed feelings about this checker board layout thing...and sometimes the background doesn't even show up [reload page a couple times if you can't see it...it works for me sometimes. my journal = gh3tt0.] i'm not really sure if its me, but i like it..I think? =\ This layout could end up being short-lived.
