Okay. Um. I know what you are talking about inside and out. Watch me fall a little in love with you while reading it.

I see that you are a friend of my beloved Jane. That is good enough for me. *friends back*

We, people I mean, write "um" now, even though it was originally just a mindless verbal construct that bought time. But in writing, it has a purpose. Voice, inflection, and so on. I like that much more than emoticons or abbreviations.

Thank you, slowly accumulating thimblefuls of love is the entire purpose of writing online, as far as I've been able to tell.

And yes, Jane is quite the winsome young lass isn't she?

I don't even know how to say what Jane is. She reminds me of things I used to want. Little things that I wanted to steal and make part of myself - an expression in an illustration, a phrase, a beaded bracelet, eating marmalade on toast - all half-buried but warm when I talk to Jane.

And end of trying to be descriptive. *cracking up*

Thimbulfulls of love! I can tell that you are going to make those things warm too. You have a way with words my friend. You should write porn LOL. Oh the shallowness. I can't imagine why Jane sent you to my journal.

You know, Billie, that he has yet to read any of the Harry Potter books? Tell him how awful he is. Tell him he should read them immediately if only to facilitate the porn writing.

You would still make a good lawyer though, and if you become a professor you won't have anything to write about.
