Sure! (This is fading_coal logged in under my personal handle.) I joined both too. I'm not going to participate in the contest aspect of resourcelove b/c I have a problem w/ contests when it comes to fan art, fanfic, etc. As I see it, the 'net is democratic, and everyone will have *someone* who likes their stuff, whereas IRL you're competing w/ other artists, writers, etc. to get your work displayed, published, sold, etc. So I tend to avoid that competitive aspect online. I don't object to contests happening; I just don't involved in them. But I love the idea of just having another place to share resources w/ others and vice versa. As long as we can agree to disagree about that one aspect (and don't worry, it's not an issue I'm going to bring up on the group--I'm just not going to participate) :-), I'm more than happy to affiliate.

Absolutely! Do you have a banner/button thingie? I have one in my User Info if you want to use it, but it's not a requirement. :-)

And I understand about getting behind and feeling like you're fighting to catch up w/ everything. I'm barely reading my current email and LJ comments, but I have a whole stack of email from much earlier in November that I want to read one of these days!
