omg, I'm so sorry. tragedies like that often do seem inconceivable if you've never been close to one, and I'm sorry your family had to go through it.

We are a strong bunch, so we made it through. His mom is really having the hardest time I think.

I can imagine. I think for a lot of moms and parents, having to deal with your child's death feels wrong on such a visceral level that it adds (at least) one more layer of difficulty in coping and figuring your way through.

My family is strong for the most part, so we all managed to pull through it.

Abigail is soon to be six years old. She's doing well, but she is certainly a little handful from what I've been told.
