Unbelievable. One would think that zombies are storming the gates from the recent posts I've seen. Last zombie I saw was on a late night movie that I was technically not supposed to be watching as (1)it was about one in the morning, and (2)I should have really either been sleeping or studying for my high school entrance exams. But whatever ( Read more... )

Cool. I'm honestly looking forward to it. Especially with the reactions to mentions of zombies >:D

Definitely. Although I did get into a bit of trouble over that one; my baby sister - who was about ten at the time - sneaked in and watched it with me... then had nightmares for about a week before telling our parents what they were about. I honestly thought they were going to confine me to my room until I was thirty.

Starting the zombie panic is one of the greater accomplishments of my life. <3

Pfft! It's good for her! Better she be introduced to them onscreen than her first meeting with a zombie be being eaten.

It's hilarious to watch, honestly.

Ah, if only I could have convinced my parents of that. I think if his face had gotten any redder Dad's head would have exploded....

Indeed. Hopefully the clearer heads will prevail and those prone to panicking will be convinced that a zombie attack is not on the horizon.

I think that perhaps one day I would like to see a movie; it would be quite a novel experience, I'm sure.

I hear there's a guy, built a TV. Perhaps someone'll request a movie, and you can watch it.

...although you have to admit, it's funny as hell to watch everyone stumbling over themselves to prepare for such an attack.

Indeed, it does relieve the boredom in this place.

They're quite excitable, aren't they? What movie? I wonder if I've seen it...

I'm pretty sure it was called Night of the Zombies or Midnight of the Living Dead or something like that; titles don't always translate well from English into Japanese. But it was written by someone named Romero, I remember that much.

[OOC: XD He watched Night of the Living Dead (1990); if he'd watched the original he probably would have gotten bored with it and wandered off to do something else.]

Romero, huh? He does a lot of good stuff. Hm...not Dawn of the Dead or Land of the Dead
9though now that I think about it, this place kind of reminds me of that one...). Night of the Living Dead? You must be from a world similar to mine to know Romero...

I'm from Tokyo in my world, around the year 2005.

Mm, now I want to watch some movies. Which is really weird since I generally would prefer to read or work on cases....

Everything looks like a dangerous menace during war times. People are easily excitable under such a pressure.

I suppose that's true. It's also morbidly amusing, somehow. And makes me nostalgic for home in a way if only so I can watch movies with Sayu again and see if I can make her jump during the suspensful moments. Little sisters are fun.

Zombies?

Oh, God. The two wizards are the ones plotting a zombie tea party.

They most certainly are. It sounds like fun to me.

Oh, and you'd said you wanted to talk with me about something. Was there any specific time you wanted to do that, Watanuki-chan?

I might pass on it. I've seen one too many things trying to eat me in my life.

And, yes. In private, please. It might be kind of personal and . . .

well . . .

It has to do with a few things I see hanging around you.
