I can't believe Steve Irwin is DEAD! I heard about it at school, but I had no freaking idea it was the truth. Jesus. The guy's gone up against freaking croc's for christ sake - and he died from a fucking sting ray stinger in the chest of all things! I'm just in shock. My condolences go out to his wife and two children.

haha i knew he died, it was weird...me and my brothers used to put his video tape on and run around the house pretending to fight crocodiles and what not... when i first saw it on the news i thought maybe he "died" so he could go into the witness protection programe.... seriously that was my first thought...yup...

Dude, that's weird. Lol. *huggles* But it's really sad that he died - he was such a huge Aussie celebrity. At least he died doing what he loved, just like he would've wanted.

I just found out right now and I'm still reeling from it. I mean, WTF?! I just can't understand how a stingray, of all things, killed him. It just doesn't seem real, but it is, if that makes sense. Damn, it really fucking sucks.

It's really sad about Steve Irwin. It was funny to watch his show and hear him talk about the crocs so passionately. How terrible for his wife and kids.

You know, I just swam with stingrays this summer! Wild ones, too. If I had heard about something like this before, I never would have done it.

Well, that's just horrible, Steve Irwin was one of the few people who could break down zoology and nature to a level that anybody could understand. It's always sad when someone dies young and leaves a family behind.

On a way lighter note I'm snagging your meme...

I love the themes of your icons... 4 are your own, three are mine; 3 have JDM, 2 have Emilie de Ravin and two have Terry. :)

And I know, isn't his death just kind of surreal? It certainly feels that way.

Haha, and that was an accident! Ahh, I do quite love my icons. *pets them*

It really does. I feel so bad for his family. He was so young, only a few years older then my parents (and JDM *whistles innocently*).
