I think maybe (or at least this is what I thought) HRG didn't mindwipe Zach at first because he wanted to lull Claire into a sense of security; he wanted to keep her sane and be able to talk to someone about her abilities so that she wouldn't be alone or go insane with the weight of knowing about it on her shoulders. So when he asked if anyone else knew, I figured he was just pretending or maybe he just wanted to hear it from her mouth that Zach knew.

Yeah, perhaps. I can imagine that, it sounds right. :) Thanks, it was just a random thought that popped into my head when I was reading Zach's MySpace entry about the missing tapes, heh. Randomness abounds!
