Dude, I can't tell you how much I know exactly what you mean. Last year, I had to say goodbye to my best friends, the people who I felt made me a better person, who made me want to be a better person. I felt that there was nothing for me left in yorktown, and that all I wanted to do was to stay in Sophomore year forever, just reliving the memories, because, I was convinced, I'd never have any as amazing as these. The truth of the matter is that if we stayed in the same place that we were comfortable, we would never grow, or change, which means never making room for the even better things in life. I mean think about it, if you stayed in the beginning of sophomore year, then you woulda never gotten with steve, and we wouldn't have ever gotten to be good friends. Memories are something that you hold onto, and when things change, you still have them to warm your heart...they're good to hold onto, but not to live in. Live it up, embrace everything, good and bad, with open arms...and Junior year isn't as bad as what I thought it would be. *
