Something to think about

I had a pretty aggressively normal childhood. Nuclear family, a house in the suburbs, hamburger helper for dinner. My mother stayed home while I was very small and babysat kids out of our house, my father still works at the same small business buying and selling tools. I felt weird for lots of things growing up, but never for my family situation

It is not about the gender make-up, it is about the quality of the parenting. I grew up in a nice suburb, too. You'll be an awesome mom.
