Grrrr... I swear, even if I can't get a double with Beth Ann next semester, I want to move. The girls on my hallway are nice enough, I guess, but there seem to be a bunch of partiers, and they never seem to know when quiet hours are! And it always seems like people end up congregating in the doorway of my neighbor, and her door is so close to mine

Ahh, thirsty Thursday. Or as I like to call it, the day for alcoholics that are so pathetically chemical dependant, they can't wait for the g*ddamn weekend.
I'm reminded of the rumor that Estabrooke will no longer be used for grad housing starting in fall of 2006. Apparently it's becoming "popular with undergraduates". I wonder if that has anything to do with being able to have alcohol anywhere in the dorm? Maybe they should just change the title from "21+ and non-traditional dorm" to "stupid, drunken f*ckers dorm". Oh, even better! They can just put a trifecta of Greek letters out front and turn it into a frat house!
I'm glad I don't have theater history because the sound of vomiting, ringing off the porcelain of the toilets that I share a wall with, isn't exactly going to lull me to sleep. In fact, I think this makes for nicer bedtime audio and imagery. Having a bigger room from being next to the bathroom is definitely not worth it, in case anyone's wondering

Yeah... And living in Estabrooke was supposed to be a good thing. Why can't Estabrooke this year be as full of quiet, antisocialites as Oak was last year? At least I never had my sleep disturbed like that. The only time there was much loudness in the hallway was the night of the elections when the power went off, and a few of us were talking out in the little study lounge in the dark. And I bet we were less disruptive than loud talkers and vomiting. Bah on Thirsty Thursday!!! Wait until the damned weekend, at least, folks.

I'd be tempted to take one of their treasured liquor bottles and bash it over their heads. You know, I'm completely convinced, along with the two of you, that some people come here with the intention of murdering their livers. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed the rant, and can totally relate. :-) Katie, I hope you're able to get the message across somehow and start getting a decent amount of sleep.
