When someone brings pain, conflict or drama to either of my spouses, it ends up in my home, in my space and I get to deal with it. I have to deal with it because I care about my spouses, what they think and what they feel, and like many others, I feel an urge to protect and defend them from the "slings and arrows of misfortune" whenever I can.
