I don't think you're necessarily paranoid at all. I feel like I've been holding my breath and waiting lately for what could potentially be coming. Let's hope we're both wrong.

Now, I'm as nutty as the next, but I'm not sure I can sign on to the Bush crime family deliberately leaking the photos. An actual terrorist attack would only solidify the suspicions that we are less safe since W signed on. It's the FEAR of an attack that they want to cultivate. That's where coercion is most effective ( ... )

The photos released are from the original investigation, not new incidents.

I agree with you about "them" wanting to cultivate fear, but I can't trust them to not take this to the next level (if they haven't already), especially with all the American lives that have already been lost.

It might not have been Bush who leaked the pictures, either, but someone else who would profit from this war. Just saying, that's all.

I kinda had the same train of thought when I read about it. I don't think you're being conspiracy-nutty at all.

I think you are being a little tinfoil hat about it. It's entirely speculative. Personally I think as a plot, that it's a little stretchy. If Bush was going to go all 'evil genius', I'd hope he had a better plan. In all honesty, those pictures make him and his administration look *really bad*, and I think he would give anything to have them *not* surface.
