Not much of a story, but here goes: As a little kid, I got a really bad UTI, so bad that the doc was worried it'd gone up in to my kidneys. He sent me off to get an ultrasound done & that's when they discovered that I've got 4 kidneys, instead of the usual two; two of 'em are full-sized & two are mini. They did biopsies to see if they all function (one of the big'uns only works at about half-mast) & did annual ultrasounds until I was 6-7, telling me to come back for another full check once I'd hit puberty. Did that at 16 & not much had changed. The little ones are now approximately the size of walnuts & it is likely my alcohol tolerance is increased because of them (kidneys help the liver to process booze & other impurities)...

P.S.: I thought for sure that you'd already heard this story at least once, no?
