"Seen too many romantic Hollywood cavalry charges? Likely. A past life? Maybe. An old man with silly fantasies of "glory" as his life winds down? Probably. I'm really a horse warrior lying dazed and dying on a battlefield somewhen, and this life is just an unconscious dreaming? Not so likely. Eh, whatever the reason, there it is, weirdness and all."
My guess would be past life. You don't get full sensory experience like that from movies. And what in any movie or other source that you've experienced would explain that feeling of exhilaration, of not caring if you die? There's nothing I know if in who you are now that would make me expect that to be your reaction.
I'm reasonably sure I was a dancer in past lives. In my mind, I can do things this body has never done.
If you want to read the book that took me from extreme skepticism about past lives to seeing them as obvious, check out Messages From Michael.
